Really what does that mean?
I don’t want to pick some random activity that I like, but in reality suck at.
Can my hobby be drinking followed by random acts of ratchetry (ya’ll like that word)?
I always thought a hobby was something done in your spare time that you enjoy. Things I happen to enjoy include eating, drinking and acting like a crazy person.
This activity feels effortless to me and I enjoy it quite a bit.
The only issue with my hobby listed above is that there is no way I can hold a conversation with anyone who doesn’t know me very well about this activity.
Co-Worker: What did you do this weekend?
Me: I went out to a club, fucked shit up and left.
There is no way in hell I can hold that conversation!
Since I’m getting older I find myself yearning for more mature activities but the things I hear coworkers (many are older) speak about sound so blah. I wish I was the type that enjoyed museums, traveling, sewing, cooking, or something of value, but I just don’t.
Can someone give me any suggestions that are not boring as all hell and that I can have a nice conversation about? Please not things like reading or exercising. I feel that mental and physical exercise is a part of life. It’s not a hobby; it’s a habit.
